ABOUT US

The Somerset Hills Bulldogs are a not for profit organization that promotes good sportsmanship, healthy competition, team commitment and an overall love of sports.

The program is fully endorsed by both Bernards and Ridge High School Athletic Departments.

Since 1957 the Somerset Hills Bulldogs have been providing a safe and organized playing experience for youth in the area.

We are proud to state that our football head coaching staff has over 87 years of collective football experience.  These dedicated volunteers have personal playing experience that includes high school, college and NFL levels.

All coaches are Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certified and attend numerous clinics and workshops throughout the year.

We are a newly restructured organization, both football and cheerleading, and are now a member of the Morris County Midget Football League.  The Morris County Midge Football League is an extremely competitive organization, where fair play and sportsmanship is emphasized.

The Somerset Hills Bulldog Coaching Staff does everything that it can to provide our children with a positive learning experience, while preparing them for real competition.  All player positions are decided on by all coaches.  Positions are not permanent and players are placed where they will benefit the team the most.

The cheerleading program has game and competition squads, with highly trained and certified coaches and volunteers, some for over 17 years.

The Somerset Hills Bulldog program is open to all residents of the Somerset Hills area.

Parents are encouraged to watch practice.  This way, they can get a better idea of how the program is run and it also allows parents to see how their child participates and interacts with the coaches and other players.

At any time if there is a question about the program that your child participates in, feel free to contact your coach or any Board member.  Parents may also utilize the feedback portion of the website, which is anonymous.

No child is turned away.
